Last weekend we escaped the snow coming to Orem and headed down to sunny St. George. It was nice to be outside and be warm! Here are a few of the things we did. Feeding the ducks (and geese). Lately Zach loves ducks! Rubber ducks, pictures of ducks, real ducks he loves them all. Going to feed them is an added real treat because you are allowed to throw food.We also went to downtown St. George where they we having an Ironman Triathlon (nothing to do with the movie). It is a race where people swim 2.4 miles, then bike 112 miles then run 26.2 miles. The top person did all of that in about 8 1/2 hours. It was crazy! The competitiors ranged in age from 18-75 (it may have only be 65) they were all amazing altlets. While we were there Zach checked out the river and splash pad. We didn't really plan this and didn't bring a swim suit so Zach went around in his diaper (guess the white trash look works okay when you are so so cute). Grandpa also gave Zach a ride in his big truck. All the noise the truck made at first scared Zach a little but he soon had a great time. And last but not least hanging out at Grandma and Grandpa's house playing in thier water table.
